Well, Scarlett O'Hara's servant might not have known how to birth a baby. And I had no idea I was birthing a quilt!
When I started quilting, I did it very simply. I sewed my fat quarters together, sewed the backing to the top (right sides together, leaving an opening to turn the fabric right side out), then pulled the fabric through. This is how I made my first "quilt".
This is called birthing.
It's kinda nice to see that I was actually doing something right! LOL
Don' know nothin' 'bout birthin' no baby!
